Bake-a-Bone is a special appliance that helps you to easily create homemade dog treats for your dog. Making dog biscuits with Bake-a-Bone is virtually "fool-proof." Just follow the instructions and recipes in the booklet included.
Here's our very own special Bake-a-Bone recipe just for you. Note this recipe really only works well in the Bake-a-Bone appliance.
Ingredients:2 Cups All Purpose Flour1 1/2 Cups Milk1 Tablespoon Baking Powder1 Cup Shredded Cheddar/Montery Jack Cheese (I purchased a pack already shredded)Directions:Mix all of the ingredients togetherLet sit for 2 to 5 minutesMeanwhile, plug in the appliance and wait for the green light to go on indicating the proper temperature for cooking.Use a small silicone spatula or spoon to fill the wells in the appliance. The batter should fill the well and go just over the well a little bit.Latch the appliance shut.Cook for 10 minutes.Remove the biscuits to a cooling rack.Once cooled you can easily break off the “edges” to make treats look clean and pretty (if that is important to your dog).Once cooled, your dog can enjoy!Yield: Approximately 40 Treats
Note: Look for our review of this product in Issue 8 of Little Pampered Dog Magazine where we gave it 3 out of 5 stars!
